The Spanish Underwriting Agencies Association (ASASE) announces the addition of One Underwriting, an underwriting agency belonging to the AON Group and a Lloyd’s Coverholder since 2024. With this addition, ASASE now has 34 member agencies, expanding its diversity within the association.

Founded in 2015, One Underwriting is made up of a team of 19 professionals and stands out for its wide range of insurance solutions aimed at both the private sector and public administration. Its activity covers financial lines (D&O, PI, Cyber), personal insurance (Accidents, Business Travel), as well as Civil Liability, Property Damage, Art and Aviation, offering more than 15 products tailored to the needs of a dynamic and constantly evolving market.

For what purpose do we process your personal data?

At "ASASE" we process your personal data in order to manage the insurance contracts entered into, as well as to manage the sending of the information you request from us, and to provide you with information about other services that may be of interest to you.

 

Why do we use your personal data?

Because the legal basis for the processing of your data is the execution of insurance contracts, the conclusion of such contracts, as well as assistance in the management and execution of such contracts, in particular in the event of a claim.

These personal data requested must be provided because they are considered necessary for the maintenance and fulfillment of the purposes stated above.

Because we must carry out certain treatments whose legitimacy is based on the fulfillment of legal obligations contained in the current regulations on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, on the Protection of the Client, as well as in the regulations on the Protection of Personal Data in force, among others.

For the transfer of data to Insurance Companies and / or Brokerage Companies, the business group for the issuance of relevant insurance contracts and the correct benefits derived therefrom. The personal data requested must be provided in order for you to access the aforementioned services, as they are considered necessary for their maintenance and fulfillment and have their legal basis in the consent itself.

For the offer of products and services, as well as any commercial action, which are based on the consent that is requested, without in any case the withdrawal of this consent conditions the execution of the contract.

 

How long will "ASASE" keep your data?

Personal data will be kept for as long as the pre-contractual or contractual relationship is maintained or until consent is revoked. Once the contractual relationship with "ASASE" has ended, we will keep your personal data blocked for the legal statute of limitations. After the expiration of these periods, your data will be deleted.

 

To whom will we disclose your personal data?

In order to fulfill the insurance contract, the data may be communicated to Lloyd's Insurance Company S.A., to third party professionals in the insurance sector, such as, for example, other insurers, insurance agents or brokers, reinsurers, loss adjusters, subcontractors with whom we outsource functions, judicial or administrative authorities, as well as to common files for the settlement of claims and actuarial statistical collaboration and files for the prevention and fight against fraud.

 

What are your rights when you provide us with your personal data?

Data protection regulations give you the following rights in relation to the processing of your data:

 

  • Right of access: Know what kind of data we are processing and the characteristics of the treatment we carry out.
  • Right of rectification: You can request the modification of your data for being inaccurate or not truthful.
  • Right of portability: You can obtain a copy of the data we are processing.
  • Right to limitation of processing: You can request the limitation of the processing of your data in certain circumstances. In this case we will only keep them for the exercise or defense of claims.
  • Right to oppose automated decision making.
  • Right of deletion: Request the deletion of your data when the processing is no longer necessary.
  • Right to object: You may object to the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to revoke the consent given.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (in Spain, the Spanish Data Protection Agency).
