ASASE INCORPORATES A NEW AFFILIATION: Insurance Partners, and welcomes Accelerant as its first collaborator in this category.

The Spanish Underwriting Agencies Association (ASASE) continues to evolve. With the firm intention of becoming increasingly useful to its members, it is introducing a new type of membership within its community: Insurance Partners. This initiative responds to an essential need for underwriting agencies in the sector and seeks to consolidate alliances with insurance companies that are committed to underwriting agencies as a driver of specialisation, agility and proximity in insurance products.

And they couldn’t have a better starting point: Accelerant joins ASASE as its first Insurance Partner, ushering in a new era of close collaboration between insurers and underwriting agencies.

But why Accelerant?

Accelerant is a capacity provider based in Atlanta, but with a strong presence throughout Europe, working exclusively with underwriting agencies. Its business model is closely aligned with the vision of ASASE and its 33 member underwriting agencies, and is simply to support underwriting agencies from the moment they are established, not only by providing capacity but also by offering technological tools, market analysis and an international network of know-how.

Dario Spata, president of ASASE, wanted to share these words:

“It is an honour for ASASE to have Accelerant as its first insurance partner. Every step we take as an association is aimed at strengthening and rewarding our members, but also companies that focus on underwriting agencies. In the case of Accelerant, this is indisputable, as it has been committed to MGAs since its foundation, providing them with capacity and useful tools for their day-to-day operations. Without a doubt, when you think of Accelerant, you think of specialised MGAs. So thank you for trusting us, and welcome.”

On the other hand, in the words of Chris Lee-Smith, Co-founder and Head of Distribution at Accelerant:

“It is a great pleasure for Accelerant to join ASASE as a partner.

Our presence in the Spanish market is stronger than ever, and we want to support our MGAs from every angle possible.

In today’s challenging and rapidly evolving landscape, partnering with ASASE gives us the opportunity to be part of this growing community and to work closely with Spanish MGAs on the issues that matter most to them.

We look forward to building a strong and lasting relationship with ASASE and shaping the future of the Spanish insurance market together.”
