On Thursday, 4 December, ASASE members met at the offices of their legal partners DAC Beachcroft to hold their 2025 General Assembly. The assembly began with a presentation by the president to all the latest members of the association, followed by comments on economic developments and new updates from the DGSFP.
However, the most important aspect of this meeting was the changes made to its Board of Directors. There were changes in the membership, with Eva Torres (underwriter at Ayax) replacing Jose Luis Muñoz (CEO of Ayax) and Ivonne García (Managing Director of Exsel) replacing Álvaro Satrústegui as the new secretary and treasurer. Mr. Satrustegui will now take on the role of Vice-President of ASASE.

In the words of Dario Spata, president of ASASE:
“Today I would like to highlight the incorporation of Ivonne García and Eva Torres del Pozo to the Board of Directors. Ivonne brings a solid and widely recognised track record at the helm of Exsel Underwriting, while Eva has extensive experience in surety bonds and is respected by professionals from different companies. Both represent the talent and vision we need in this new phase. Their addition strengthens ASASE and propels us firmly towards our shared goals. I welcome them and thank them for their commitment to the association.”
For her part, Ivonne Garcia said:
‘I am grateful for the trust placed in me to take on the role of Secretary and Treasurer of ASASE. I approach this responsibility with enthusiasm and a commitment to work rigorously and effectively to contribute to the development of the association. Thank you for the opportunity.’
