The Association of Spanish Underwriting Agencies (ASASE) and Club Català de Corredors have signed a collaboration agreement and, from now on, CCC will be a friend broker of ASASE, with the aim of strengthening ties between the underwriting agency model and the brokerages that make up CCC, promoting a closer and more efficient collaboration model within insurance mediation.
On 28 October, a training session was held at the Barcelona Association of Insurance Brokers, presented by Darío Spata, president of ASASE, and Félix Ferrer-Dalmau, member of the association. Both entities share a common vision: to promote a more accessible, collaborative and innovative insurance market, where specialisation and operational agility are fundamental pillars.

Through this alliance, ASASE and the CCC will promote cooperation between underwriting agencies and the club’s brokers, fostering new business opportunities and bringing specialised solutions to the Catalan business community.

Dario Spata had this to say after the agreement was signed: “Collaborating with the Club Català de Corredors represents a declaration of intent. Mediation and underwriting agencies share the same mission, which is to add value to the market through knowledge, proximity and specialisation. With the CCC, we will further improve our collaboration model, which will undoubtedly benefit all parties equally. At ASASE, we believe that the future of agencies lies in cooperation and the construction of a more moderate and connected market.”
Guillem González, president of the CCC, emphasised: “We are very pleased with this new agreement with ASASE, which represents a step forward in our mission to offer more tools, resources and business opportunities to our member brokerages. This collaboration allows us to expand our range of products and underwriting options, thereby strengthening our partners’ ability to provide better service to their customers, with more specialised solutions tailored to their needs.”
With this initiative, ASASE continues to advance its mission to represent, connect and strengthen the profile of underwriting agencies in Spain, consolidating its role as a meeting point between brokers, insurers and end customers.
